Newcastle Town Moor Marathon
19 NOV2009
First ever Newcastle Marathon.
Only 100 places were available for this run and these were snapped up quickly when the entries opened earlier in the year, so unfortunately there are no places left and no entries available on the day. However for the first year event it is surely going to be a well followed race. Spectators are encouraged to line the course around the Town Moor to cheer the few lucky runners on.
North East Veterans Athletics Club has organised the multi Lap marathon on November 22nd 2009 at 10 am on a five lap course of good footpaths running through and around Newcastle Upon Tyne's historic Town Moor, situated right in the heart of the city.
Help is required on the day from NEVAC members, members of North East athletics clubs, their friends and family. If you know someone who is competing please offer to help on the day. Contact George Routledge.
