Mersey Tunnel 10K

28 MAY2010

The Mersey Tunnel 10K is taking place on Sunday, starting at 10am from Leeds Street in Liverpool. The route will take runners under the Mersey and finish up in New Brighton Promenade Vale Park in the Wirral. Organisers, run Liverpool, are describing it a 10K race with a difference, telling runners to watch out for the incline out of the Wallasey Tunnel.

There will be FREE rail travel to the start and back from the finish, courtesy of Merseyrail. Any runner who wishes to race but has not yet registered can still do so in person at JJB Sports (Williamson Sq) until tomorrow (sat May 29) at 3pm. There are a small number of places still available and these will be given on a first come, first served basis.

Good Luck to all runners taking part, remember to check northernrunningguide.com for results.
