26th Longridge 7 Mile Road Race

Taking place on the 13th December will be the 26th running of the Longridge 7 mile road race. The race starts at 11am from Longridge Civic Hall (Off Berry Lane, Longridge, Lancashire) where there are changing facilities, toilets and good parking available.
2008 saw 241 runners take part with Scott Monk of Blackburn Harrier leading the field home in a time of 40 minutes 54 seconds. Joanna Goorney of Wesham Road Runners was first female home in a time of 49 minutes 7 seconds. This year there are prizes for the first six men and women, first veteran categories and team prizes. All finishers will receive a Christmas Pudding ... now that makes it definitely worthwhile!
Entries are £7 for club runners and £9 for unattached runners (there is a £2 extra charge for on the day entries). Entry forms can be downloaded and completed prior to race day and handed in at race HQ on the morning of the race
