Any runners looking to take part in this years ING New York City Marathon will need to act fast, with entries for the race closing in just two days, on July 22. Sports Tours International offer several packages to take runners to the popular event on November 7 2010.
The ING New York Marathon is one of the biggest events on the international running calendar. From its small beginnings in 1970, when 127 runners took part in the race, the New York Marathon now sees over 100,000 applicants annually, with the runners battling it out in front of two million cheering spectators and 315 worldwide television viewers.
Entry to the race with Sports Tours International is currently £299, with entries after July 22 being subject to a late entry fee. The price includes a bus transfer to the start of the race and entry to the Continental Airlines International Friendship Run on the Saturday before the marathon.
