Race for Life 2010 Comes To An End
30 JUL2010

The last race for life of 2010 will be run tomorrow in Clapham, London, bringing an end to another extremely successful series from Cancer Research. Race for Life was established in 1994 and now has over 200 women only events across the UK, seeing 4.7 million women raise over £370 million to help fund Cancer Research UK's life saving work.
This year, Cancer Research held 5K and 10K races across Scotland, including Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Fife, Glasgow, Inverness, Irvine and Stirling. These races are sure to be added to, as part of next year's series.
The popularity of Race for Life shows just how much the people of the UK are getting behind Cancer Research and the work that they do to beat cancer. To find out more about Race for Life and Cancer Research UK, visit the Race for Life website.
