Enjoy An Autumn Run At The Seaside

12 AUG2010

The Asics Seaside 10K race will take place on October 10 2010 in Southport and looks set to be a fantastic event, organised by local running retailer, Natterjack. Entries are now open and runners are looking forward to the day, which will also include a fun run.

The race will consist of a new and improved two lap course on paths through Southport's Princes Park, Marine Drive, Kings Gardens, Promenade and Lower Promenade and is completely traffic free. There will be prizes given in 14 Vet categories as well as to the first three men and women across the finishing line, so the £11 entry fee is well worth it.

The fun run will take place at 10am, followed by the start of the 10K at 11am. Runners can enter online or fill out a postal entry form. Entries close on October 5 2010, although entries will be taken on the day for an extra £1.
