Get Ahead In Middlesbrough

2 SEP2010

parkrun logo

Middlesborough parkrunners will be getting some extra help ahead of the Middlesbrough 10K on Sunday, as Emma Gardner, a Lucozade Sports Scientist will be visiting the Albert Park event this Saturday. Emma will be on hand to answer all sports nutrition questions that runners have before the following day's race.

Lucozade Sport scientists have been visiting parkrun events across the country, letting runners sample the Lucozade Sports nutrition range and explain what the different products are used for. Emma's advice will be invaluable to any parkrunners taking part in the 10k race on Sunday and for their future training.

The Middlesbrough Tees Pride 10K will see 5000 runners take to the streets of Middlesbrough in one of the town's biggest running events in the calendar. The day will include the main 10K event, plus a 3K fun run, elite men's and women's mile races and a wheelchair race.
