Chips Are In At Liverpool 10K

7 SEP2010

An example of one of the take-home timing chips

Runners who are looking to take part in the Liverpool 10K on October 3 are being urged to get their entries in before Wednesday, September 8 so that they can have a personalised timing chip for the race. The timing tags will be attached to each runner's shoe laces and can be a personalised souvenir of your participation in the race.

The 10K race will take place in Liverpool's Sefton Park and will take runners through the park, before circling the perimeter and finishing past the boating lake in the park. The event is organised by Run Liverpool, who host many events in the city throughout the year, including the Liverpool Half Marathon and Mersey Tunnel 10K.

Entries for the Liverpool October 10K don't close until the end of September, however runners entering on Thursday or later will miss out on the chance to take home a personalised timing chip, one of the more unusual souvenirs from race day.
