Run As A Reindeer For RNLI
18 OCT2010

RNLI, the UK's lifeboat charity, has just launched its series of Reindeer Runs for 2010. With 13 events happening across the country, there is bound to be a fun reindeer run near you. The events give families a great opportunity to get in to the festive spirit together, while raising money for a great cause.
The events will consist of a 10K race and 5K fancy dress fun run, some locations will even have a Santa Saunter for the walkers among the crowds. All money raised from the events will go towards the volunteer crews and lifeguards who help to keep our waters safe
The Reindeer Run series last year raised over £115,000, with over 4,600 runners and walkers taking part. With new events added for 2010, the charity hope to smash through these records and with over 8,000 runners and walkers, raising a target total of £200,000.
