Oxfam Plan Massive 2011
19 OCT2010

Oxfam, the major international charity, is planning to make a huge impact on the British running scene in 2011. Oxfam is the official London Marathon charity and the principal charity for Edinburgh Marathon. It will also have a major presence at Brighton Marathon, the Great North Run and the Great Manchester Run as well as Reading Half Marathon, Adidas Silverstone Half Marathon, Bath Half Marathon, Royal Parks Half Marathon and Run to the Beat.
Oxfam has places available for runners at all of these major events and would be happy to hear from you if you would like to support the charity. If you have secured a place in any running event the charity would love if you considered running in their colours. Tell them you're running for Oxfam and they'll send you out their special running pack.
Oxfam raised over £100,000 at London Marathon in 2010 and will be looking to exceed that figure next April. They also expect to raise substantial funds in their other key events to help them in their efforts to end poverty and suffering worldwide.
