Bargain Entry To Kilomathon 2011

22 OCT2010

Kilomathon 2010

Runners will now have the chance to enter England's second ever Kilomathon from just £5, as the event teams up with Hope For Children and Rainbow's Children's Hospice. The event will take place in Derby on March 20, 2011, in perfect training time for those who have been lucky enough to gain a place in the Virgin London Marathon.

The £5 spots in the 26.2km event will give runners an extra incentive to train hard through the winter months as they will know they are running for a great cause come March.

Race organisers are urging runners to get their entries in fast for only the second Kilomathon in England, as last year's proved such a success. 2011's race limit is fixed at 5,000 runners for this unique event.

Also on the day of the Kilomathon will be the first ever Mini Kilomathon, a 2.62km race, which gives children the chance to be involved in the big race day experience

Entries are open now for all events on the Kilomathon website.
