100 Great North Places Up For Grabs
27 MAY2011

The North East newspaper The Journal is offering readers the chance to win one of the last 100 places available in this year's Bupa Great North Run on Sunday, September 18. The Journal is supporting the Great North Fitness Revolution which is tackling the chronic health problems facing the region.
Now the Journal and Nova International, organisers of the BUPA Great North Run, have joined forces to encourage people to take more exercise and eat more healthily and make a difference to the well-being of the north-east region.
To apply for one of the last 100 places, visit the Journal online and describe in less than 200 words why you want to join the fitness revolution and take part in the race.
Those who win a place will be notified by email after the competition closes on June 30. A registration fee of £50 will then be payable by those who are successful. As a special incentive, one of our last 100 runners will receive a golden ticket entitling them to two VIP hospitality passes to be enjoyed on the day.
