Katie Holmes is currently receiving great reviews for her portrayal of Jackie Kennedy in the controversial mini-series, the Kennedys. The 33 year old wife of Tom Cruise had to be in great shape to play the demanding role of the major fashion icon of the 1960s and has won as many plaudits for her physical appearance as her acting.
One commentator described how the actor who came to fame in teen drama Dawson's Creek 'looked quite adorable' at the March premiere for The Kennedys, in a Ralph Lauren dress.
Holmes achieves a high level of fitness with a regime that includes running. She has often been seen out running with husband Cruise and, in fact, completed the 2007 New York City Marathon in 5:29:58.
