Saltwell Harriers Online Upgrade

25 JUL2011

Saltwell Harriers pose at the Angel of the North

Saltwell Harriers are a Gateshead sporting institution, the club having been founded in 1890. However the Harriers are also forward thinking and have a made a commitment to the future with the creation of a new style website at saltwellharriers.org.uk.

The new site has some clever graphics on the home page and lots of facilities including a news feed, details of club activities, up and coming races, race reports and club contacts. Also useful downloads and links.

Pride of place on the new site goes to promotion of the Ronnie Walker Saltwell Road Race which has been run every year since 1911, excluding the war years. The race covers a distance of 10k, is traffic free incorporating a route in and around Saltwell Park, Gateshead. This year's race date is December 17.

Visit the new Saltwell Harriers website for full details of the Ronnie Walker Saltwell Road Race
