Entries Open For Berlin

23 OCT2011

2011 Berlin Marathon

Online registration for the BMW Berlin Marathon on September 30, 2012, opened last week (Thursday, October 20). Patrick Makau's world-record performance at this year's race reaffirmed the event's status as an elite event that regularly attracts the top names in the sport.

With the limit set at 40,000 participants, organisers are offering a reduced registration fee of 60 Euros for the first 10,000 entries, with the price for the next 15,000 - 80 euros, and the final 25,000 having to pay 100 Euros. This year's entry limit was reached in February.

The race is one of the five World Marathon Majors alongside London, New York, Chicago, and Boston, and is known for its relatively quick course. If you would like to register for the 2012 marathon and take advantage of the reduced price, you can do so by visiting the event website.
