Get Ready To Run With Chrissie

20 DEC2011

Chrissie Wellington

For the first time in the UK, Ironman World Champion Chrissie Wellington is offering runners of all abilities the chance to join her in a 5k run. Taking place tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, December 21), Chrissie will lead runners around the campus of Leeds Metropolitan University.

Following the 5k run, participants will be invited to a 45-60 minute training session led by Simon Ward and other triathlon coaches. The day will be finished off with a buffet and a Q&A with Chrissie.

The event has been organised in co-ordination with the Janie Tomlinson Appeal, with all funds raised going directly to the charity. There are still spaces left for the full training session, buffet and Q&A afterwards. All guests will receive a good bag worth over £20, including a high tech running t-shirt.

If you are interested in attending Run With Chrissie, visit the event website to avoid disappointment.
