Lightwater's Fabulous Scenery Hosts Annual 10km Race

The Lightwater Valley Challenge 10k takes place on Sunday March 21, 2010, starting at 11am from the Lightwater Theme Park near Ripon. The proceeds of the 10K go to support of Help for Heroes and the 3K proceeds will help North Stanley C of E Primary School.

The Valley challenge is a new multi-terrain race that takes you through Lightwater Valley Theme Park and into the surrounding countryside. It follows gravel tracks with one mile of off-road running. The route is undulating so be ready for a few hills!

There is also a 3k Family Fun Run starting at 10.00am (£3 children, £4 adults). The Valley Challenge 10km 2010 entry fee is £10/£12 - entries will be taken on the day but may be limited entries. For more information you can visit the official entry form page.
