Asics Windermere Marathon
Not just a race, but an occasion. Voted the most scenic marathon by the readers of Running World it’s bigger, better and as beautiful as ever. Finish this breathtakingly beautiful course, amidst a carnival atmosphere, in the grounds of Brathay Hall with its stunning views over England’s largest lake.
“Spectacular - beautiful scenery, excellent organisation, well-spaced refreshment stations, very friendly atmosphere - I can't fault anything about this race!"
The 26.2 anti-clockwise lap around Lake Windermere takes in the honey-pot sites of Hawkshead, Newby Bridge, Bowness-on-Windermere and Ambleside.
