Dales Trail Series - DT40
The DT40 is the final and longest race of the Dales Trail Series, travelling through three of the most remote Yorkshire Dales. With 40kms of hard packed moorland track, footpaths and quiet country lanes, but with over 3,000ft of ascent, this is a challenging event. The race requires strategy, consistency and stamina but the rewards are great, including fabulous views, great satisfaction and Yorkshire hospitality on the shores of Semer Water. The route is marked but map reading skills are an advantage to help you plan your race strategy. The DT40 can be entered as a stand-alone race or as part of the Dales Trail Series Grand Slam, covering 90kms and over 2,550 metres of ascent
