Petzl Night Runner Grizedale Forest
Location - Grizedal Visitor Centre, Hawkshead, LA22 0QJ
The second night trail running race of the Petzl series takes place at Grizedale Forest. The start and finish venue is based at Grizedale Visitors Centre, in the Lake District, which is ideal venue for families and supporters as well as runners. As with all our night runner races, fancy dress is actively encouraged and the theme for Grizedale is "Christmas Festivities".
The trails are well packed underfoot but if it wet there could be some muddier sections so trail shoes are recommended. A good quality headtorch is vital as the course is completely on trails and there are no lights in the forest.
