Peak District Challenge Copper 25K
The Copper challengers starts at 9.30am on Saturday morning.
You will leave Hathersage in the Hope valley and wind your way past Grindleford, along beside the river Derwent and through the woods to pretty Baslow.
From here, you will climb up Curbar and Frogatt edges enjoying some lovely views back to the valley.
Next you will wander through Padley Gorge, through the Burbage Valley and up towards Higger Tor.
Then it’s a final long downhill along public footpaths to the finish past Mitchell Field and High Lees, and finally find yourself back in Hathersage again.

|Facilities||Hathersage Memorial Hall By train! There is a train station five minutes walk from the event base, and the event has been specifically timed so that you can travel to the event from Manchester or Sheffield by train. There is also limited pay and display parking in the village, and even more limited free parking available, but this may be at a distance from the event base at postcode S32 1DU.|
