THE GREAT NORTH CITYGAMES COMES TO TEES VALLEY
 

The Great North CityGames, normally held in NewcastleGateshead, are coming to Tees Valley for the first time in 2019. Staged the day before the Simplyhealth Great North Run in NewcastleGateshead, the games are an established highlight in an action packed sporting weekend.

On Saturday 7 September 2019 thousands will enjoy this incredible spectacle in the heart of Stockton town centre. The High Street will be transformed to host world-class athletes from around the globe as they compete alongside the very best of home-grown talent. Keep your eyes out for exciting athlete announcements coming soon.

You can get involved too by taking on the Simplyhealth Great Tees 10K as it returns to Stockton-on-Tees for its second year on the same day.

Bring the kids and sign them up for the Simplyhealth Junior and Mini Great Tees Run. The runs which are open to budding runners aged 3-14 give children the chance to experience their own finish line moment and wear their medals with pride after finishing the 2k or 4k route. The Junior and Mini runs on Saturday 7 September take place alongside the The Simplyhealth Great Tees 10K

If you’d rather take things at a slower pace you can relax in the magnificent surroundings of Wynyard Hall or enjoy ultimate luxury at the five star resort Rockliffe Hall.
