Organisers of the Run Tatton Park Half Marathon and 10K have confirmed that the races will take place on the weekend of 3/4 November. Entries are now open, but, with just 2,000 places available for each, prospective competitors are being encouraged to register as both races are expected to sell-out.
Launched in 2016, the event has proven to be a big hit with a course that at the popular venue of Tatton Park in rural Cheshire. Tatton Park is billed as one of the UK’s most complete historic sites, with a neo-classical mansion, lavish gardens, a deer park and a playground.
Competitors for both the 10k (Saturday 3 November) and half (Sunday 4 November) can expect courses that are set in and around the historic estate. Both routes are closed and said to offer a fast race – a £100 prize is up for grabs for anyone who sets a course record.
If the photos are anything to go by, this looks like a top event, and considering that November is just its third staging, it is sure to see its stock rise in the coming years.
