The JCP Swansea Half Marathon, Wales’ fastest growing race, takes place on Sunday 26 June, 2016, on fully closed roads. The flat fast course is perfect for beginners, first time half marathon runners and charity runners. Up to 8,000 are expected to take part in the race that will start and finish in the city centre. The route goes along Swansea Bay to The Mumbles and back, featuring six miles of stunning coastline, beautiful views and fantastic crowd support.
ASICS will be present at the race village during the event with their performance trailer where runners can have gait analysis by the qualified ASICS tech team free of charge, get recommendations on ASICS products to suit their running style, and receive tips and advise on any running related issues.
Race director David Martin-Jewell commented: “We are very excited to welcome ASICS back on board for the JCP Swansea Half Marathon 2016. ASICS is the perfect fit for our race and we are delighted to introduce them as the official sports training partner. We hope that our runners will find the training programmes useful to helping them achieve their goal and distance to complete the 13.1 miles on race day."
