Half Time In Berlin

Berlin runnerBerlin is a runner’s paradise, with the last five world marathon records being set in the German capital. For those who’d like to run in the city but don’t fancy taking on the full 26.2 miles, Berlin Half Marathon on 3 April 2016 is an attractive alternative.

Organisers are accepting entries for the 36th hosting of the event until the 30,000 race limit has been met. Like its marathon counterpart, the Berlin Half route is fast and flat. Starting and finishing on Karl-Marx-Allee, a monumental socialist boulevard in the eastern part of Berlin, the course passes several landmarks including grand buildings on the Unter den Linden boulevard, the Brandenburg Gate, the vast Tiergarten park, the Berlin Victory Column, the magnificent Charlottenburg Palace, and the Kurfürstendamm Boulevard.
