The Brathay Trust is now inviting applications for the 2015 Brathay 10in10, a testing challenge which requires runners to tackle 10 marathons in 10 consecutive days. Having recently celebrated its 8th year, the race secures vital funds for the Ambleside-based Brathay Trust.
The event takes place from 8-17 May and culminates with a final leg at the Brathay Windermere Marathon. This year’s event saw 14 runners successfully complete the challenge with over £110,000 raised for the trust.
The entry fee for the 10in10 is £950 and the fundraising commitment is £3,000. Training and support is provided, including a residential weekend in January, fundraising support, a full team of professional sports therapists and practitioners during the event, food and accommodation.
If you would like to join the Brathay 10in10 team, please email Alyson Knowles before 20 June or call 015394 39720 to register your interest/request an application pack.
