Hot on the heels of their most recent event at Burnley, Run For All has confirmed an addition to their 10k series, the Asda Foundation Bury 10K. The event, scheduled for Sunday 18 September, will be backed by the Bury-based I Will If You Will (IWIYW) fitness movement.
Charlie Tatman, Run For All Event Manager, said: “We are really excited about bringing a new 10k to Bury. A great feature of the Asda Foundation 10Ks is the fantastic atmosphere they generate and we are confident Bury will continue that tradition.”
Organisers are anticipating a field of over 1,000 to take part in what will further expand the reach of their 10k series. Details of the route are expected in the coming weeks although it has been revealed that the course will be flat and suitable for beginners and old hands alike.
Pritesh Patel, of I Will If You Will, said: “We are delighted that a new 10k is coming to Bury. It promises to be a fantastic event that will not only bring runners and spectators on to the town’s streets but also, hopefully, raise valuable funds to support the work of some wonderful charities.
“So come on Bury, what are you waiting for? Let’s get together, enter with friends and family and show them how it’s done!”
Entries for the race are now open.
