Teams from companies across the country will be fighting for the title of fastest firm when they compete in the MKM Hull 10K Corporate Challenge and accompanying half marathon race. The corporate event has become a feature of the Hull 10K, and with this now supplemented by the half marathon race, is set to see even more companies battle it out on Sunday 10 June.
The addition of the half marathon was confirmed in November, and with the 10k regularly attracting 4000 runners and upwards, looks certain to be a popular move from organisers Run For All.
As headline sponsor, building supplies firm MKM will be supporting corporate challenges in both the 10k and half marathon. As well as having shown their opponents a clean pair of heels, the corporate challenge runners will help raise thousands of pounds for local and national charities.
Siobhan Curtis at Run For All said: “The corporate challenge has long been a popular feature of the Hull 10K and we are sure the format will be equally popular as part of the half marathon.
“The challenges are good fun and a great way of fostering team spirit as well as promoting a bit of friendly rivalry and we are enormously grateful for the support of MKM in 2018.”
Teams in the 10K must have a minimum of five runners – four for the half marathon – with the times of the first three members home used to calculate the winners. Further information about the corporate challenge in both races is available at the event website.
