Parkrun is enjoying continued success in Northern England, with two new races starting this month, in Kingston-upon-Hull and Bradford.
This Saturday (April 3) sees the start of the parkrun race in East Park, Kingston-upon-Hull. Gill Tramere and her team will be meeting parkrunners at 08:30 in the Green Flag awarded park, with all participants welcome to join the team in the Pavillion Café for a coffee after the 5K route.
Gill and her team are always looking for volunteers to help with the races. If any northernrunningguide.com readers are able to give one hour of their time, every other Saturday, the team would be delighted to hear from you on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bradford will also soon see a new parkrun, with the Lister Park event starting on April 17. Robert Bane will be the event director and would be happy to hear from anyone who is able to help with the event. Contact him on email@example.com.
Parkrun organisers would like to thank all volunteers who have helped to make the Leeds parkrun such a success, leading to this new Bradford route being established.
