Catch the final wave at Conwy Marathon

Conwy Marathon

On the back of what was another highly successful Anglesey Half Marathon, organisers Always Aim High will now switch their attention to the next event in their exciting portfolio, Conwy Marathon, which is scheduled for Sunday 31 March.

Like its shorter sibling in Anglesey, which boasts an iconic start point at the Menai Suspension Bridge, the Conwy race is a cracker! It is hosted on the promenade, in the beautiful coastal town of Llandudno in North Wales.

From there, the route then takes runners around the awe inspiring Great Orme, The Conwy Castle World Heritage Site, to the beautiful Colwyn Bay Promenade before doubling back along the stunning beach front to finish back in Llandudno.

The course has been designed to incorporate as much of the Conwy coastline while also taking runners through some fast and quiet country roads. There has been a lot of positive attention surrounding the race and over 3000 spectators are expected to be in attendance to cheers runners along the way.

Entries for the first ever Conwy Marathon remain open and are priced at £45 (until Friday 22 March). Thereafter this will increase to £50. Further information is available here.
