Cheshire Looking For Running Leaders

Run England

As the Olympic Torch makes its way through Cheshire, Run England is encouraging others to carry on the sporting mantle in the area by providing free places on their group leaders courses.

With over 23,000 members registered, Run England is the nation's official recreational programme which aims to get the whole nation active through running. As we approach London 2012, the organisation is looking to build on the 900 recreational running groups already registered.

The Leadership in Running Fitness course is designed to train enthusiastic volunteers as Run England group leaders. The ideal candidate should be supportive, patient, passionate and keen to share their love of running. Run England is providing free places for the course, due to take place on Saturday, June 16, at Moss Farm Leisure Complex in Northwich.

To book your place, email Sarah Tilling, alternatively, visit the Run England website for more information about the programme.
