New Dates For Color Run

Color Run

With places in huge demand, two more Color Run dates have been added to the 2015 calendar. Brighton (10 October) and London Wembley (7 June) join Birmingham (15 August), Manchester (5 July) and Belfast (30 August) at what organisers bill "the Happiest 5k on the Planet".

In 2014, more than 85,000 Color Runners of all shapes, sizes and ages got stuck into the spirit of The Color Run events across the UK.

Now in its third year, the event has spread its love, fun and colour to more than 50 countries with an incredible 300+ events hosted worldwide.

The Color Run is not timed, so participants can walk, jog, dance and party their way along the course at any pace. Starting in a white t-shirt and reaching colour zones at every kilometre, there's no way to finish each event without being covered from head to toe in kaleidoscopic colour!

At the finish line, colour covered partygoers join the Festival Area to enjoy a great mix of DJs, MCs, the infamous Color Throws plus a host of colour crazy giveaways.

James Robinson, MD of Challenger World said: "It's clear to see how much love there is for The Color Run in the UK, with entries for the events in Manchester, Birmingham and Belfast already selling fast.

“The summer of 2015 promises to be even bigger and better than last year, with new locations and a brand new dazzling twist, we can't wait for the first event to get started!"

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) will be the official charity partner for 2015. Participants can support the children's charity when they sign up by donating straight to the charity or setting up a fundraising page once they have entered.

NSPCC director of fundraising, Paul Farthing, said: "We're absolutely delighted to be the official charity partner of The Color Run in 2015. By taking part in one of these fun, colourful events and raising money for the NSPCC, people will be joining our fight for every childhood, helping us protect children and prevent abuse here in the UK."

Registration for all 2015 events is now open at the event website.
