Copenhagen Half Marathon Information Update

action from Copenhagen Half

Next month sees one of Europe's top half marathons, Copenhagen Half Marathon, take place on Sunday 17 September. The event has become one of Europe's top races over 13.1 miles and earlier this year achieved IAAF Gold Label status.

Copenhagen Half Marathon will be commencing and finishing on Øster Allé, DK-2100 Copenhagen. The men’s and the women’s elite race begins concurrently with the mass participation race at 11:15 am. The race will be staging the 2017 Danish National Half Marathon Championships.

Unfortunately, in the current edition of runABC magazine, our 'Time For A Viking Raid' holiday runner feature stated that the race starts and finishes at the Christiansborg Palace, which is not the case. The race starts and finishes on Øster Allé. Also, we inaccurately stated that Copenhagen Half Marathon was run in March; the race is run annually in September.
