Sports Tours International has struck an exciting partnership with Decathlon for their upcoming Dreams Come True Halloween Fun Run. The arrangement means that various Decathlon stores in the north west will be supporting the event and will allow customers to purchase products to compliment their participation on Sunday 29 October.
Launched in August this year, the 5k run, which encourages participants to dress up in their spookiest attire, will utilise Heaton Park, one of Manchester’s most iconic open spaces with a total coverage of around 600 acres. The setting will also incorporate the grade one-listed 18th century Heaton Hall, the perfect backdrop for some spine-tingling fun with a number of activities and attractions planned.
The partnership signifies a major boost for the event with race day less than two weeks away: UK Events & Sponsorship Manager at Sports Tours International, Kevin Harmer said: “We are delighted to be working with Decathlon Sports again, especially as this is our first ever Halloween Fun Run at the fantastic Heaton Park in Manchester.”
Kevin added: “Decathlon focuses upon providing top quality sports and leisure equipment for all ages and tastes, so it matches the exact ethos of the Halloween Fun Run.”
The event is sponsored by the Dreams Come True charity, whose mission is to enrich the lives of children and young people living with serious medical conditions and the Halloween Fun Run shows their intent in spreading their reach into the North West of the UK.
Registration is priced at just £10.
