BTR Liverpool is throwing down the gauntlet to runners in the North West and challenging them to ‘double up’ at this summer’s Port Sunlight event. Last year, close to 200 signed up for the combined races, and organisers are anticipating even more will take it on next month (Sunday 16 June)
One of the key events in the BTR portfolio, the Port Sunlight event enjoyed immediate success when launched in 2012. Last year, organisers decided to celebrate the natural beauty of the village on its 130th the anniversary with a nod and a wink to the Flower Power era of the 1960s.
Since being established, the race has become renowned for its picturesque scenery, with many drawn to its unique location and a course that winds through tree-lined boulevards.
Those brave enough to double up at the event will be the lucky recipients of two t-shirts, a dual race medal and a discounted combined entry fee. Entry for the dual event is priced at £33.
Standard entry for the 5k is £20, with the 10k at £26. Further information, including registration details, is available here.
