The Derby Ramathon is amongst an increasing number of races that ban the wearing of headphones. It is a UKA licensed event and subject to the new rule introduced by the UKA into its Competition Rules regarding headphone wear in races. The race organisers state that any runner who fails to obey this rule could face disqualification.
