Entries Open For Bike and Triathlon Show

Bike and Triathlon ShowTickets are now on sale for the Manchester Bike and Triathlon Show, which returns to Manchester on the weekend of 8 and 9 March 2014 with a host of new exhibitors and features. The first show welcomed more than 6,000 people through the doors and as a result the organisers have expanded the exhibition space by one third.

One of the newest additions is a Strava Running Challenge, which will allow you to compete against other runners to win a free pass into all three of Sports Tours International’s UK races: We Love Manchester 10K, the City of Salford 10K and the Aintree 10K.

Cyclists can take advantage of MyFirst Velodrome Experience, a hour ride at the Manchester Velodrome under the guidance of a British cycling coach. Advice will be given on basics of track cycling including starting, keeping your line, leaving the track safely and riding on the banking whilst maintaining a controlled speed.

There will also two one hour guided rides through Wheel2Wheel, organisers of self-guided leisure cycling holidays. Participants will get the chance to use the iconic Brompton folding bikes courtesy of Brompton Dock – the recently launched bike rental scheme located in Manchester and throughout the UK that allow you to use a Brompton bike from as little as £2.50 per day.

Regular ticket price for the Bike and Triathlon Show is set at £15 but Sports Tours International is offering a reduced entry of £6; book through their website and enter the promo code STI221 to receive the discount.
