Teams of runners will take to the historic streets of York on Sunday 4 August for the 2013 renewal of the Morrison Utility Services York 10K Corporate Challenge. The Challenge is one of the biggest corporate team events in the UK and combines a fiercely-contested competition, a fun team-building event and an opportunity to raise funds for good causes.
Neil Pike from last year's winning team attended the 2013 Morrison Utility Services York 10K Corporate Challenge launch earlier this week and promised they would be back to defend their title. Team-mate Vincent Durkan added: "We had a brilliant day. It's a really great event and we're looking forward to taking part again this year. Hopefully we can hold on to our title."
Run For All's Mike Tomlinson said: "The Morrison Corporate Challenge has become one of the key events in the business calendar in York and we're really grateful for Morrison's continued support. The Corporate Challenge is great fun event that is perfect for team-building and firing up your competitive spirit. It's also a fantastic way of rewarding the team. We have firms who return year after year and tell us it is one of the highlights of their calendar."
The Corporate Challenge is open to teams of 10 - or five for smaller businesses - and includes VIP hospitality on the day and an awards evening to take place in the week after the event, where the fastest firm will have bragging rights!
Entry to the Corporate Challenge is £550 for a team of 10 runners or £275 for five. For more information on the York 10K Corporate Challenge please visit the Run For All website.
