First There Was The Mobot

Mo Farah

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. If so, Mo Farah's Mobot, which just about superseded the Olympic rings as the most recognisable symbol of London 2012, must be about the highest echelon of acclaim a celebration can reasonably hope for.

Now, Santander is offering the opportunity to create a trademark celebration for Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis. Running for the full month of May, 'A Celebration for Jessica' invites schemers to submit a video or picture of what they think the heptathlete's victory pose should be.

Launching the competition, Santander's brand ambassador, Jessica Ennis, said: "What would you do if you were in my shoes on Super Saturday? How would you celebrate? Send in pictures and videos of your celebration and don't forget to tell me about the inspiration behind your entry. I'll be picking out my favourites!"

The lucky winner will get to meet Jessica and take home a cash prize of £5,000. There will also be four runners up prizes of £500 for the funniest; under 18; best picture; and most user votes. You can keep track on the competition and see the winning entries on Santander's Facebook page

As the competition is just for fun, however, Jess said she couldn't guarantee to adopt the winning celebration.
