Geneva Celebrates 10 Years

Geneva Marathon

Geneva Marathon will celebrate its 10 year anniversary on 4 May 2014. To mark the occasion, organisers have included two new 10ks and a 5k route for participants aged 14 and 15 as part of a range of distances on offer around the Swiss city.

Entries opened for the event a month ago with runners from 40 different countries already having signed up. As well as the new distances, the event will include a marathon, half marathon and 1-3k junior races.

Runners will once again finish the marathon on the famous Pont du Mont Blanc, in the heart of Geneva - with spectacular views of the famous Jet d'Eau. The marathon village will open its doors from Friday 2 May in the centre of the Jardin Anglais. For three days, runners and spectators will enjoy a range of activities and entertainment as well as collect their bib,s and browse the latest running brands and equipment.
