Great Run Series Teams Up With Puma

The Great Run Series which includes the Bupa Great North Run, the Bupa Great South Run, the Bupa Great Manchester Run and the Bupa Great Women's Run has announced a major new partnership. The UK-wide series has announced that international sports brand Puma will become its official sportswear and merchandise supplier.

This announcement represents a milestone in Puma’s performance strategy which has seen an expanded athlete stable in the UK. The Puma team includes Susan Partridge (pictured) and Chris Thompson.

Puma's Paul Spence said:  “This new partnership with Nova International is an important one for us, most notably for the strong brand and retail presence it offers across the Great Run Series.  Puma has a strong heritage in running and we are proud to underline these performance credentials through the activation of this partnership. Nova events attract phenomenal participation and inspire runners of all abilities to run faster and achieve personal goals.”

Our aim has always been to provide our runners with an exceptional event experience - from their first training run, to crossing the finish line – Puma’s expertise in footwear and apparel will undoubtedly help them achieve their goals.”

As the official merchandise supplier, Puma will open an online store on the Great Run Series website selling limited edition Great Run Series footwear and apparel.  Runners will be able to get their hands (and feet) on the latest footwear and apparel including the Faas 600S and ACTV running tights, in race villages at events across the country including the Bupa Great North Run and the National Lottery Newham London Anniversary Run.
