In the lead up to what will be a special anniversary event for Liverpool Half Marathon and accompanying 10 Mile Road Race, runners are being encouraged to hit their finest form with the incentive of a special PB medal.
The flagship event from organiser BTR Liverpool – the half marathon has been, throughout its 25 history, one of the central races in the North West – celebrates the birthday event on Sunday 25 March and is expected to be the biggest race staged in Merseyside in years.
A big draw for runners is the brilliant course, which takes in the Albert Dock, the Museum of Liverpool, Liverpool Cathedral and Sefton Park Palm House and features a 3-mile home straight along Otterspool Promenade back to the finish at the iconic Pier Head.
To be eligible for a PB medal, runners must register their interest prior to race day and must have achieved their previous best time at either Liverpool Half Marathon or 10 Mile event. As is stands 200 entrants have registered and will be aiming to secure one of the PB medals come March.
If you would like to be in with a chance of joining them, you can register for either race here.
