In The Pink With Derby Ramathon Pacers

Team Of Pacers From Shelton Striders At The Derby Ramathon

Pacers from Shelton Striders will help runners achieve their PB’s at the Derby Ramathon. An intrepid team of 18 of experienced runners, will don bright pink T-shirtsand cater for all finishing times from 1:40 to 2:20. Acting as a motivating force for those looking to finish as well as runners with a target time, they will be a welcome sight at this year’s race.

The Derby Ramathon is a popular event, starting at 9.30am on Sunday 4 June. 5,000 places are on offer and an iconic medal and technical T-shirt for all finishers plus a start and finish at Pride Park Stadium, the home of Derby County FC. The fast, flat course is another attraction with its PB-potential and the event is one of eight races in the RunDerby series.

There is a Business Team Run for companies as part of the half marathon and the Mini Ramathon, a two-mile fun run for children and families who have the opportunity to compete alongside Derby County FC’s mascot ‘Rammie’.

Derby County FC is the official race partner for a third year and one of several sponsors lending their support to this event. MacMillan Cancer East Midlands is the headline charity, also for a third year, and hoping to boost their total of more than £54,000 raised over the past two years.

There are prizes for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th male and female; age category winners, first affiliated team and first, second and third teams in the Business Run.
