Each and every runner brings their own story to their fundraising effort, a narrative that provides motivation during the long training months and satisfaction, when crossing the line on race day.
As such, JustGiving is looking to celebrate the fundraisers and charities that have made an incredible contribution over the last year and shine a spotlight on the amazing work they have done at a ceremony in October.
Keith Williams, general manager UK and Ireland at JustGiving, said: “It’s fantastic to be celebrating our 10th anniversary of the JustGiving Awards this year, recognising the incredible work and dedication of some of the most inspiring fundraisers and charities.
“Whether that’s pushing themselves to complete enormous physical challenges, saving their own life with pioneering medical treatment or campaigning to make a positive difference to the world - these people turn to JustGiving every day to prove that giving changes lives.”
If you know someone who you believe deserves recognition, you can make your nomination from the Just Giving website. Last year, over 70,000 nominations were received, with 27 finalists picked. The final ceremony for 2019 will take place in London on 22 October.
Nominations close on Sunday 30 June.
