Northernrunningguide.com has put together a few bits of last minute advice for any runners and supporters going to the Hull 10K on Sunday May 23. All the essential bits of information are listed below.
The Hull 10K will start at 09:00 from the start area on Alfred Gelder Street, with suggested assembly points for runners, joggers and walkers. Organisers are recommending that racers arrive in the start area no later than 8:30am.
There are good public transport links to the centre of Hull by both train and bus. If racers and supporters are travelling by car to the start/finish, race organisers are urging people to consider the road closures before planning their journey. Parking will be available at Princes Quay Shopping Centre and also the APCOA Car Park on Lowgate. These Car Parks will be open from 7am, with a special rate of £1 all day parking.
Current BBC Weather Forecast for Sunday is a High of 23, with Sunny Intervals and a light breeze.
Runners are reminded to attach their timing chip to their shoe laces as per the instructions in the chip envelope. Runners who lose their chip or running number during the event will not be given a finish time.
