Applications have closed for next year's NYC Half Marathon but Sports Tours International has a limited number of guaranteed entries available. Runners at the 2014 race will be hoping for the luck of the Irish with the event taking place on St Patrick's Day weekend (Sunday 16 March).
The race starts in Central Park and finishes in Battery Park, taking runners along the Hudson River waterfront and through Manhattan. The half marathon is popular with British runners - Mo Farah won the 2011 men's race and Paula Radciffe was first woman in 2009.
International runners can also apply via Sports Tours as they has been granted permission to accept bookings from countries that don't currently have entries themselves. For more information, visit the Sports Tours website.
