The 2019 Liverpool Half Marathon is proudly showing off the city...
...and where better to start and finish this 26-year-old event than on a Unesco World Heritage Site?
Liverpool has a rich cultural heritage, a million and one fantastic landmarks and is world famous for its football and of course The Beatles.
And you can experience a large slice of what Liverpool has to offer when you take part in the 26th Liverpool Landmarks Half Marathon. What a start on the Three Graces site at the Pier taking in the waterfront roads, the Albert Dock just across the way - contrasting starkly with the very contemporary Liverpool ONE complex. There's even the bandstand in Sefton Park thought to have been the inspiration for the Sergeant Pepper album... see for yourself!
Along the course you will see many more of the iconic landmarks you will be so familiar with - even if you've never been to Liverpool before.
The half marathon showcases so much of Liverpool and guarantees a first class experience on race day. And don't forget, there is also the Liverpool 10 Mile Road Race which is incorporated and hosted on the same day, at the same time.
So if you would like to step up from a 10K then 10 miles would be ideal for you!
