Organisers of the 2013 Yorkshire 10K are looking forward to a new autumn date (Sunday 22 September) for their annual event which doubles as an important fund raiser for Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The 10k route is through the private estate of Newby Hall, just minutes off the A1 near Ripon in North Yorkshire.
The Yorkshire 10k offers a fantastic multi-terrain route and, in addition, entrants can also take advantage of a 2 for 1 entry into the 25-acre award winning gardens, sculpture park, adventure playground and mini-railway.
The 10k is for 16 years and over but the 2k Fun Run ensures everyone can take part in this popular event at an iconic location. You can run, jog or walk the route so whether you're an established runner or new to the sport, you're welcome to join in the fun.
With medals for finishers in both events plus a prize fund in the 10k, this event is for everyone and offers a terrific day out in beautiful Yorkshire. Race organisers, Cystic Fibrosis Trust, are grateful to Newby Hall Estate for continued support and to their many hard-working volunteers for help and support.
