Manchester Race Dedicated To Togetherness For 2018

UKFast We Love Manchester 10K

Race organisers at UKFast We Love Manchester 10K are building on the positive spirit in the city and looking forward to their big July date. Once again, as in 2017, they will donate £1 of every entry to the Lord Mayor's We Love Manchester charity.

The Sports Tours International event team are also pleased to announce that they have permission to incorporate the 'Manchester Bee' logo into the designs for the event T-shirts and medals.

The 10k has established a reputation as being one of the most welcoming on the circuit and is known as the ‘People’s Race.' Runners will make their way to the start point at Regional Athletics Track, Sportcity, next to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday 8 July,.

Moving out of Sportcity, the course loops at 6.5k and comes back into the campus to let runners enjoy a cracking finale on the track. The race is known to be fast: last year saw a host of runners post PBs, with Mohammed Abu-Rezeq taking victory in 30:50.

For this year’s event, organisers Sports Tours International have confirmed that the last mile of the race shall be named the ‘McrTogether’ Mile, which will celebrate the lives of the people we have lost and the spirit of the City of Manchester.

To be part of July’s race, visit the event website here. Registration is priced at just £21, or £19 for affiliated runners. An accompanying Toddler Trot also takes place alongside the 10k.
