New Groups And Routes In Cheshire

Lyme Park

Run England have worked with Sport England, GreaterSport and the National Trust to set up three new beginner groups. The groups will help motivate anyone wishing to start running by offering free, friendly structured sessions at the Lyme Park National Trust Site in Cheshire.

The first group will be held each Wednesday at 6:30pm until the end of October, and will provide a fun, sociable environment for people wishing to improve their running fitness. Lyme Park will also be offering a group on Thursday mornings at 9:30am, starting tomorrow (5 September). The final group will take place on Sunday morning at 9am, beginning on 22 September.

In addition to the groups, Run England announced a trio of marked, 3-2-1 running routes in the Lyme Park National Trust Site. The routes cover distances of 1.4 miles, 2.1 miles and 3 miles, and takes in the likes of 'Darcy's Lake' - where Mr Darcy met Miss Bennett in the BBC production of 'Pride and Prejudice.'
